Corporate retreat to strengthen culture and collaboration within the Banca Fideuram team

Banca Fideuram was founded in 1968 as Fid.Eur.Am., Fiduciaria Europea e Americana: trust is already in the name. We took them to Ca' San Sebastiano, a farmhouse restored from an ancient rural hamlet among the UNESCO-listed hills of Monferrato, and we asked the team to build a cardboard car. Each team received a budget in gold coins, never enough on its own to finish the car: sooner or later you need something only another team has, and the only way to get it is by bartering.

Trust is built over time

Fideuram knows this better than most: managing someone's wealth takes years before that person truly entrusts their decisions to an adviser. A retreat cannot recreate that time, but it can recreate its logic: putting people in a situation where they have to rely on one another. That's what we tried to build in these two days in Monferrato.
